The Bachelor of Architectural Studies Degree degree focuses on the relationship between architecture, communication, technology, culture and the environment through theoretical and practical application. An emphasis on current architectural practice in Australia and overseas means students graduate with knowledge of the ever-changing nature of architecture globally. Students gain practical experience from learning in dedicated design studios and workshops.

Entry Requirements:

Qualify for South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) with competitive ATAR; or complete secondary education equivalent to SACE; complete International Baccalaureate Diploma; complete or partially complete higher education program; complete four Open Universities Australia courses at undergraduate level or above; complete a Certificate IV level or above; qualify for special entry; complete a Foundation Studies program; and meet any pre-requisite and academic requirements. International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained the required standards prior to admission.

Structure:

108 units, with Year 1 and Year 2 establishing basic skills and concepts in design theory, creativity, environmental awareness, communication and technology, and Year 3 developing competence in core subject streams.
