This degree allows you to delve into two distinct yet complementary disciplines when you study a double major. Standard entry requirements

Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalentANDQualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), and achieved a competitive Selection Rank (ATAR), orComplete secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE, orComplete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 pointsApplicants who have not achieved the Selection Rank required for automatic selection may be selected for any remaining places based on the grades of their year 12 subjects.

Study pathways

Students who finish their degree with a credit or higher Grade Point Average (GPA) could be eligible for the one-year Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and may be able to continue studies with a Master of Teaching and teach in Australia and overseas. Students can also complete their studies at the innovative James Morrison Academy of Music in Mount Gambier.

Further information

Students can apply for the Bachelor of Arts/Master of Teaching (Secondary) packaged option which is a pathway straight into postgraduate study. For application into the Master of Teaching packaged option apply into the Bachelor of Arts and select the specialisation in first year.
