The Graduate Certificate in Organisational Safety and Human Factors teaches students to manage workplace safety by critically analysing, generating, and communicating practical solutions to safety issues. Students study law and corporate social responsibility; human factors; leadership; change and risk management, and the systematic management of workplace hazards. The knowledge students gain can be applied to many industries, including aviation, transportation, healthcare, mining and defence. This qualification is offered online on a part-time basis.

Entry Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Safety or Human Factors; or any Bachelor degree and 2 years relevant health and safety or Human Factors work experience; or minimum 4 years equivalent full-time relevant Health and Safety or Human Factors work experience. International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained the required standards prior to admission.

Students can use the certificate as a stepping stone to a graduate diploma in Human Factors and Safety Management Systems or Organisational Safety Management.
