Linda Lou Murphy Visual Arts Scholarship

The scholarship has been established to honour the late Linda Lou Murphy who was a highly regarded South Australian artist known for performances that included the adornment of the body by complex folded paper forms.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Australia citizens or permanent residents enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework visual arts program. Preference may be given to first-year students. Selection is based on: financial need or isolation; passion for visual arts. Consideration may be given to applicants addressing other equity criteria. Students who are in receipt of another scholarship administered by UniSA are ineligible to apply.

Amount $5,000

Value: $5,000 paid in two instalments of $2,500. The first payment will be made after the Study Period 2 census date, and the final payment will be made after the Study Period 5 census date, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
