In 2026, UniSQ will offer one Herscovitch-Duncan First Nations Scholarship in Nursing to support an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student commencing their studies in the Bachelor of Nursing. Established in 2024 through the founding gifts of Fleur Herscovitch, this endowed scholarship supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students pursuing a career in Nursing. The scholarship commemorates the tireless efforts of Pam Duncan and her advocacy for public health investment in and around Boggabilla in northern NSW.
