Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science

Students will gain the education and training necessary for a career as a medical technician or technical officer in the private and public pathology laboratory sectors. This degree will also provide students with training for a career as a biomedical scientist with a research capability and/or a biomedical science support role. Students will gain practical experience through structured placements in a pathology laboratory and/or by attendance at residential schools.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent; English (4SA) or equivalent; Study in one of Biological Science, Chemistry, or Science 21, assumed knowledge: Mathematics A (4, SA) or equivalent. Domestic and International Applicants from a non-English speaking background are required to satisfy English language requirements.
