In this program students will have the opportunity to experience work on construction projects and develop the skills and knowledge needed for a professional career in Construction Management. Students will learn the skills of leadership and teamwork in a construction context and develop knowledge and skills in management, technical, legal, and construction economics in relation to building and civil construction. Graduates can look forward to diverse roles in construction project management, site management, contract administration, construction estimation, property development and facilities management seeking positions as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager or Contract Administrator with relevant experience working for clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Entry Requirements:

Subject Pre-requisites: English (4 SA) or equivalent, Mathematics A (4 SA) or equivalent; Recommended Prior Study: Mathematics B (4 SA) or equivalent; English Language proficiency requirements for Category 2.


32 academic courses and 6 practice courses which may require on campus attendance at Residential Schools for external students.

Student's may articulate from the Associate Degree of Construction into the Bachelor of Construction (Honours).


Queensland Building and Construction Commission. Professional accreditation will be sought from Australian Institute of Building and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
