This program offers the unique opportunity to finish the degree within three years while studying full-time, allowing students to become practising Mine Surveyors once graduated. When students graduate with their Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology in Geographic Information Systems or Surveying, graduates will be eligible to apply for membership with the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute Australia.

24 academic units plus 3 or 4 compulsory practice courses

Study Pathways:

3 years of full credit granted towards Bachelor of Spatial Science (Honours) (4 year full time equivalent program).16 Credit points advanced standing awarded to graduates of Associate Degree of Spatial Science in same major at USQ, if entry gained within 5 years of graduation. The Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology is the middle step in an articulating suite of programs leading from the Associate Degree of Spatial Science to the Bachelor of Spatial Science (Honours), in the same major study area.

Surveyors Board of Queensland and recognised in every Australian state and in New Zealand; Boards of Surveyors in Australia and New Zealand. Graduates; Spatial Sciences Institute Australia.
