Foundation Diploma of University Studies

USQ's Foundation Diploma of University Studies is open to everyone. This program provides a quality foundation for tertiary study and will set students up for university success. The core courses are offered online which will enable students to balance work, life and family commitments. Choose to explore one of eight specialisations, and once successfully completed students can graduate with a degree qualification or provided they meet all the entry requirements, students can transfer directly into an undergraduate degree.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants have to be 18 years or older.

Structure:

8 units; 4 core courses plus 4 major courses

Business and commerce; Construction; Creative arts; Engineering; Indigenous community development; Science; Social studies; Spatial science

Study Pathways:

As a graduate of this program, students will be eligible to apply for direct entry into selected USQ undergraduate degrees.
