This program leads to a professional accreditation in the area of clinical psychology. Graduates will be provided with clinical and research training in psychology that is consistent with international standards for professional psychology. It adopts a scientific and evidence-based approach to clinical psychology. Qualified clinical psychologists provide students with supervised clinical practice in an internal on-campus psychology clinic, as well as a variety of external teaching hospitals and clinics.

Recognition
Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency's (AHPRA) Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) also recognise the program for the purpose of registration and for endorsement of practice in clinical psychology. This program is recognised by the NSW Ministry of Health as qualifying the holder for progression to the grade of clinical psychologist.
