Changing models of health care delivery designed to improve quality and access to services require effective leaders who are able to utilise information technology and build and engage teams. This course provides the opportunity for health professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge enabling them to become leaders in health services. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to successfully assume a range of leadership roles in health services in a wide variety of settings. The core units provide the opportunity for participants to develop a strong theoretical and practical understanding of contemporary health services. Units explore models of health care, leadership, project management, change management, governance and legal issues.
