Humanities and Social Sciences Honours Scholarship

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences offers up to four scholarships to support students experiencing financial hardship who are commencing honours for the Bachelor of Arts or for the Bachelor of Media and Communication. Engaging with the School as a student ambassador is a condition of this award; the successful applicants will participate in events to promote Honours and will be invited to attend School meetings as student partners on occasion.

Eligibility Requirements

This scholarship is available to students commencing a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (R4A) in a Social Sciences or Humanities discipline, or a Bachelor of Media and Communication with Honours (A4M).; Selection will be based upon demonstration of financial need, with academic merit considered as a secondary criterion.; Applicants must contact their School Honours Coordinator prior to applying to ensure the availability of an appropriate supervisor and the capacity of the relevant School to provide support for the proposed project.; Engaging with the School as a student ambassador is a condition of this award; the successful applicants will participate in events to promote Honours and will be invited to attend School meetings as student partners on occasion.
