The UTS Law Ezekiel Solomon Scholarship is a one year grant to support one commencing or continuing, full-time UTS Law student who demonstrates financial need or other disadvantage. Ezekiel Solomon (AM) an Adjunct Professor in the UTS Faculty of Law and a senior partner in Australia’s oldest law firm, Allens Arthur Robinson, has recognised the need to assist UTS Law students who are experiencing financial difficulty.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizen, or holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; be enrolled or intend to enrol in a UTS Bachelor of Laws (single or combined) degree in the semester the Scholarship is awarded in; have applied through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) for an Equity Scholarship and therein demonstrate financial disadvantage; have submitted a UTS Faculty of Law Equity Scholarship application form; (for continuing students only) have satisfactory academic progression. Selection is based on: financial disadvantage; motivation to succeed in the chosen course; demonstrated initiative in personal and professional life.
