Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, or permanent resident, or permanent humanitarian visa holders; be enrolled in a UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences undergraduate degree in the session the Scholarship is awarded; have completed 48 credit points of their UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences undergraduate degree; applied through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) for an Equity Scholarship and therein demonstrate financial disadvantage; and met satisfactory academic progression, or evidence of exceptional circumstances. Selection is based on: academic excellence;’ financial disadvantage; motivation to succeed in the chosen FASS degree; demonstrated initiative in personal and professional life.
