WJ & LM Sinclair Engineering Scholarship
University of Technology Sydney (UTS)
The WJ & LM Sinclair Scholarship in Engineering has been generously donated with the aim to support applicants who have the personal potential and commitment to study engineering, are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and/or are from financially disadvantaged background. Up to two student scholarships may be offered enrolled in any major of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Diploma in Professional Practice.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be commencing their first year of an undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering (Honours; Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice degree or a combined Engineering program at UTS; be Australian citizens; be enrolled full-time; be either a current or non-current school leaver with an ATAR (or equivalent) of 80 or above (Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants will be considered with an ATAR of 69 or above); be able to demonstrate financial need by applying through UAC for an Equity Scholarship or for the EAS. Selection is based on: academic merit; motivation to succeed; demonstrated initiative in extra-curricular and non-academic activities; letter of aboriginality (if applicable); financial need and other equity circumstances.
