WMA Water Junior Cooperative Scholarship

The WMA Water Junior Cooperative Scholarship aims to support applicants who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering and have an interest in the water industry.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens; be enrolled in the BEng(Hon)DipProfEngPrac, BEng Dip Eng Prac Engineering degrees or combined Engineering program at UTS; be majoring in Civil or Civil and Environmental Engineering; be enrolled in Engineering Practice Preview or have successfully completed all prerequisites subjects for Engineering Experience 1; have a credit average; for the duration of the Scholarship: full-time enrolment in the BEng(Hon)DipProfEngPrac, BEng Dip Eng Prac Engineering degrees or combined Engineering degree. In addition, preference will be given to applicants that have completed a placement at WMAwater in the year prior to this scholarship being awarded. Selection process: academic merit; motivation to succeed in the BEng(Hon)DipProfEngPrac or BEng Dip Eng Prac course; demonstrated interest in the water industry and in a work placement at WMAwater; WMAwater's recommendation of recipient.
Amount | $12,500 The scholarship is valued at $25,000 for 2 years. Internship: the recipient will complete one unpaid internship of 24 weeks with WMA, as required by the course, usually in their second year of study. |
