Sunshine Coast Daily Kathleen McArthur Memorial Scholarship

The Sunshine Coast Daily Kathleen McArthur Memorial Scholarship was first established by the Sunshine Coast Daily in memory of Kathleen McArthur, who was a conservationist, author, educator and activist and founder of the Wildlife Presentation Society of Queensland in 1962. She was selected by the Sunshine Coast Daily as the Sunshine Coast Citizen of the Century in 2002. The intent of this scholarship is to encourage and support a student with an active interest in the environment.

Eligibility Requirements

commencing full-time in the Bachelor of Communication, majoring or minoring in Journalism; graduating from a high school in Sunshine Coast or Noosa Council local government areas; Permanent Resident of Australia, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
