Vice-Chancellor's Merit Scholarships

The University of the Sunshine Coast Chancellor's Scholarships are intended to recognise, reward and encourage academic excellence. Eligible applicants must be either commencing full-time in their first undergraduate program in Semester 1, 2017 or have commenced their first undergraduate program in Semester 2, 2016 at USC.
Eligibility
Applicants must be commencing their first undergraduate degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Selection is based on: high academic achievement; leadership skills demonstrated through academic, extra curricular/community activities; and financial need. Students who have completed any courses as part of an undergraduate bachelor level program at USC or another Higher Education provider will not be eligible.
Amount | $3,000 The scholarships are paid in instalments of $1,500 per semester for the normal duration of the program. Students will receive $3,000 per annum for up to 6 semesters for a 3 year program up to a maximum of $9,000, or $3,000 per annum for up to 8 semesters for a 4 or 5 year program up to a maximum of $12,000. Students achieving OP1 or 2, or an equivalent rank from secondary studies, are guaranteed to receive at least the VC Merit Scholarship valued at $12,000. |
