This combined arts and science program provides students with a strong scientific base and powerful communication talents. Students can tailor their degree by adding majors and minors that spark their interests and ambitions and earn 2 degrees in areas they're passionate about in 4 years instead of 6. Students can choose from over 20 specialisations in a range of areas including humanities, social sciences and science. They can combine interests in community work and public health, environment and heritage and environmental science plus more. They can build scientific knowledge coupled with strong communication and critical thinking skills. Student will develop a niche skill set to set them apart from other graduates. They will gain work experience and make industry contacts that could help them land a job through Work Integrated Learning subjects. Diverse career choices are available to graduates in either research institutes, planning agencies, public relations and management in industries related to technology, production and environment.

Year 12 or equivalent; Knowledge of Year 12 English and maths and at least one of the sciences, preferably Chemistry, is recommended

Structure:

This course has 32 subjects including a core subject, Arts and Social Science studies: 8-subject major, a 4-subject minor and elective subjects. Science studies: 6 required courses, a major from the Science areas of study, and 2 elective subjects.

For eligible applicants an additional OP score of one or two selection ranks is granted.
