In this course students will develop research skills to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making. Depending on topic of research, students will contribute to the body of knowledge in one or more of the broad areas of study in which the School of Social Sciences and the School of Communication specialise. Completing the program will foster a development of advanced research skills, and enhance graduates' ability to critically review literature and case studies. It provides an environment for intellectual, professional and personal growth and this rigorous program will assist in the development of high-level written and oral communication skills.

A research based degree in which the candidate will conduct a research project and prepare a thesis under supervision of a member of the teaching and research staff of the University.

Standard entry requirements
- Bachelor degree with at least Honours Class 2 Division II or equivalent study
