Graduate-entry diplomas are available to students who have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline and who wish to undertake further studies towards an additional undergraduate major. An Arts diploma provides students with the opportunity to either extend their previous undergraduate studies within a particular discipline, or choose a major from an entirely new area. A graduate-entry diploma is particularly beneficial to those who are seeking an alternative study or career path upon completion of a bachelor's degree, or simply wish to complement their previous studies in order to enhance their career opportunities. The Bachelor of Arts course equips students with skills for many facets of life and provides opportunities to discover their talents, interests and abilities. Studying Arts enables students to develop highly sought-after skills such as critical thinking, communication, reasoning and problem solving.

Bachelor degree; and satisfy any prerequisites for preferred majors


The Diploma in Arts course normally consists of eight units from Levels 1-3 comprising a single major offered within the undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree course. Students take the second major sequence and are normally not required to complete complementary units. Additional units may be permitted to satisfy prerequisites or co-requisites.
