Bachelor of Psychological Science

The Bachelor of Psychological Science is a three-year undergraduate degree. Students can make a choice to deepen their studies in psychology with the objective of becoming a registered psychologist or they can take complementary studies from UOW's wide variety of disciplines to develop other career pathways where knowledge of psychology is advantageous. Students with an excellent academic record and an extended major in psychology can apply for entry to the additional one-year Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) degree, a prerequisite to professional registration. If students combine this degree with a second major, or minor options from Social Science, Arts, Commerce or Science, they can prepare for a wide variety of careers involving human resources, marketing, social research and many more.

Undergraduate

There are also three specialised degrees combined with TAFE study in tourism, events and hospitality.

Studying a business degree will also give you the opportunity to study abroad for six months. UOW partners with more than 100 overseas educational institutions, which you can choose from when selecting a study destination.

From our Sydney CBD campus, we offer the Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Services. This program has an exclusive intake of 40 students each year. The small class sizes allow for maximum learning, industry projects and development opportunities where you will connect with firms and businesses directly related to your degree.

Postgraduate

The Sydney Business School is the graduate school of the Faculty of Business and offers high quality postgraduate business programs at the Sydney CBD Campus located at Circular Quay in Sydney, and UOW’s main campus in Wollongong.
