This dual degree challenges you to understand Australian and international legal systems, the social impact of crime and society's response to criminal behaviour. You'll study a comprehensive Law degree with a range of opportunities to gain practical experience in criminal law. You can undertake an internship at a local court or work on a real case at the Law School's in-house legal centre. In Criminology you will study contemporary social problems like drug addiction, juvenile justice, offending and victimisation.

Domestic: Year 12 or equivalent + LAT; International: Year 12 or equivalent


A total of 240 units of credit: Law compulsory courses - 96 UOC; Prescribed law elective - 6 UOC; Law elective courses - 42 UOC; Criminology Core (36 UOC); Social Research and Policy Core (42 UOC); Prescribed Criminology Electives (18 UOC).
