Electrical Engineering encompasses research, design, development, manufacturing and management of complex hardware and software systems, and reliable cost-effetive devices. This involves the use of new information and computer sensitive technologies, with key subjects including telecommunications, photonics, systems and control, energy systems, microelectronics and signal processing.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 or equivalent; Assumed Knowledge: HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and Physics.


Students must complete 60 days of Industrial Training and 168 Units of Credit. Students are strongly encouraged to consult the Electrical Engineering School website for the recommended program structure and for advice on course selection sequences that are consistent with timetabling and availability.
