Environmental Engineers are concerned with the impact of engineering activities on the environment. They apply a broad knowledge of engineering, science and environmental processes to identify environmental problems and to develop effective solutions for various environmental problems and the provision of sustainable infrastructure. Environmental Engineering embraces aspects of civil engineering, chemical engineering, applied and biological sciences, and environmental studies.Environmental Engineers improve current degraded environments and minimise the disruption of today's engineering activities on tomorrow's environment!

Entry Requirements:

Year 12 Higher School Certificate or equivalent; Assumed knowledge: HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and Physics.


Students must complete 60 days of Industrial Training and 168 Units of Credit.
