The Law degree aims to develop graduates who have excellent analytical skills, a capacity for scholarly research, effective oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to personal and professional development, ethical practice and social responsibility. In addition to developing critical and analytical skills, Law students can gain real-world perspective by undertaking an internship and practical legal experience in our community legal centre. Structure

The Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) is designed to challenge students with an interest in critical thinking, research and innovation. The development of depth of understanding and practical skills in a discipline is a key part of the program, however, the degree also focuses on instilling a culture of research and enquiry through early induction into the research ethos and access to research groups and facilities.

All domestic applicants who wish to study an undergraduate Law double degree at UNSW need to sit the Law Admission Test (LAT). Applications for undergraduate study from domestic students (Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, Australian permanent humanitarian visa holders and New Zealand citizens) are processed by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).
