The Bachelor of Art Theory is designed specifically for aspiring thinkers, producers, curators, innovators and entrepreneurs interested in pursuing a career in the creative and cultural sectors. The program champions critical enquiry and recognises the important role that art theory plays in today's arts ecology.

Structure

The Bachelor of Art Theory is awarded at the completion of three years full-time study. The program consists of an Art Theory Core that provides a depth of engagement with art theoretical study and an Elective and General Education component that provides a depth of experience.

Standard entry requirements

  • Year 12
  • Certificate IV or higher qualification. Students with an ATAR (or equivalent rank) that is just below the expected cut-off have the opportunity to submit a portfolio.
