Students will be equipped with the entrepreneurial skills needed to innovate, develop, and design novel chemical and consumer products for large and small employers. Fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, students will shift the focus from process to product design and development.

Structure

Students must complete 60 days of Industrial Training and four (24 UOC) courses per semester.

Chemical Product Engineers make use of their broad understanding of chemical and physical sciences and will be engineering the types of products that will be ready for commercialisation in fields such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural chemicals and foods, amongst others. Students will find themselves working at the forefront of an industry where chemical engineering skills are solid foundation, but the ability to design and take a product to market has quickly become the skill that employers demand or build their own businesses upon.
