The Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) is studio practice-based, fosters a spirit of inquiry and provides students with opportunities to work within and across established and emergent disciplines and technologies. Our intensive and innovative program is at the forefront of contemporary art practice in Australia.

Structure

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) is awarded as an Honours degree at the completion of four years full-time study, which includes a research and internship component. The program consists of a Fine Arts core that provides a depth of engagement with Fine Art studies and an Elective and General Education component that provides breadth of experience.

Standard entry requirements

  • Year 12
  • Certificate IV or higher qualification. Students with an ATAR (or equivalent rank) that is just below the expected cut-off have the opportunity to submit a portfolio.
