Computer Science is a super flexible computing degree at UNSW, concerned with the core principles and technologies that make up the entire range of computer-based systems. Students study the principles underlying computer hardware, algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, graphics, and artificial intelligence, but are free to combine these with other discplines. Students' choices can be within Computing or in other fields such as Engineering, Science, Arts or Business. There is a 4th year Honours program available.

Structure

Students study artificial intelligence, computer graphics and multimedia, databases, e-commerce, expert systems, human-computer interaction, network applications and operating systems.
