The scholarship has been established to encourage an interest among medical students in rural general practice.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be entering the fourth year of the Medicine at UNSW; and be prepared to spend 2 weeks of the year in Casino experiencing the activities of a rural medical practice and hospital. Selection is based on academic merit.
