The scholarship is established to assist in accommodation and living expenses for students enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be admitted under the Rural Student Entry Scheme to Medicine and have completed the first year of their degree; be the immediate member of a family who have lived in the federal electorate of Riverina or Farrer for at least 3 years prior to the date of application; and have experienced one or more of the following educational disadvantages: financial hardship, rural isolation or other proven disadvantage.
