VU Achievement Scholarship
Victoria University (VU)
Victoria University (VU) offers merit based scholarships to the highest achieving year 12 students from each of the secondary schools in the western region council areas of Brimbank, Hobson's Bay, Maribyrnong, Melton, Moonee Valley and Wyndham. Each school will be offered 2 scholarships: for the highest achieving year 12 student who enrols in a VU Higher Education (HE) undergraduate course; and for the highest achieving year 12 student who enrols in a VU Vocational Education (VE) course.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens, permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; be currently enrolled in year 12 at one of the participating schools and register to be included in the school's ranking; apply to study and be offered a place at VU; enrol to study full-time in an undergraduate degree or a VE certificate, diploma or advanced diploma; and be ranked by their secondary school based on success in internal assessments for year 12 studies.

Registrations open in August and close October each year.
Amount | $5,000 Higher Education (HE) students receive $5,000 per year for up to 4 years. Vocational Education (VE) students receive $2,000 per year for up to 2 years. Tenure is dependent on satisfactory performance. VE students must be enrolled in a course of at least 12 months duration. |
