This training program is made up of units from the Chemical, Hydrocarbons and Refining and Public Safety Training Packages.

Entry Requirements:

Pre-requisite units: Respond to mine incident; Monitor hazardous atmospheres; Operate breathing apparatus open circuit; Work in a team.

PUASAR025A Undertake confined space rescue; PMAWHS211 Prepare equipment for emergency response.

Established in 2003, WEST Rescue is a Registered Training Organisation based in Perth, WA. It provides training in the Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue. Leadership and team building skills are also offered. Accredited courses in fire extinguisher training, breathing apparatus, height safety and working in confined space are delivered to industry as well.
