This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It provides the skills and knowledge which underpin a range of work functions and job roles that can lead to a horticultural trade qualification.

15 units: 5 core; 10 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Participate in work health and safety processes; Recognise plants; Treat weeds; Treat plant pests, diseases and disorders; Assist with soil or growing media sampling and testing. Electives: Apply a range of treatments to trees; Perform pruning operations; Operate and maintain chainsaws; Assist with landscape construction work; Operate tractors; plus more.
