This program is only available to Australian Indigenous students. It covers curriculum, pedagogy, educational psychology and diversity studies as well as indigenous cultural studies and the role of the teacher and education in the community. It is designed in flexible block mode where students travel to Sydney for intensive teaching sessions several times each semester then undertake supported study in their homes and communities. Study and course patterns are tailored to allow working people to undertake the program.

Structure

  • 4 year program offered in a block release mode, which requires students to attend four to five residential schools per year, each lasting approximately 2 weeks. Core program of curriculum, pedagogy, educational psychology and diversity studies
