WS Community Scholarship
Western Sydney University
WS Community Scholarships are donated by staff, students, alumni and friends of the University. These committed donors provide ongoing support to give students the encouragement to be all they can be. WS Community Scholarships provide opportunity to those who might not have otherwise had the chance to study at university because of financial hardship or other circumstances.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; receive an offer to study an undergraduate program at UWS or, in the case of current students, be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree at UWS; and demonstrate financial or other hardship based on the UWS Opportunity and Equity criteria (also including students who are the first in their family to attend university). Preference may be given to students residing in Greater Western Sydney, as defined by UWS. Recipients must be willing to share their story and act as ambassadors for UWS.
Amount | $6,000 The scholarship provides $6,000 per year for the duration of the degree. |
