The Sir William Angliss Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Scholarship (VIC/NSW) is awarded to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students (commencing or continuing) in any study area, based on equity.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, you must: Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island heritage; Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or hold a permanent Humanitarian Visa; Be enrolled or intending to enrol full time in any Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree course in any study area at William Angliss Institute. Demonstrate your Aboriginal or Torres Islander origin. Include evidence of a Confirmation of Aboriginality form completed in consultation with the Institute's Koori Liaison Officer.
Amount
$1,500
Scholarships of up to $1,500 (AUD) each will be available to students in Semesters 1 and 2. This is awarded to support the students' skill development, travel, living and other study related tools, resources or/and equipment expenses.
