The Sir William Angliss VET Scholarship (NSW) is awarded to domestic VET students (commencing or continuing) in any study area, based on merit or equity.
Applicants must: be an Australian citizens, or permanent residents, or permanent humanitarian visa holders; be enrolled or intending to enrol full-time or part-time in any Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma course in any study area at William Angliss Institute (Sydney campus). Applicants must fall into one of two categories; Merit Demonstrate academic excellence via results achieved during previous and current studies; or Equity Demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage, and provide evidence: of a disadvantaged financial background; be from a rural area or under-represented school; are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait islander; or have disability, long-term medical illness or mental health condition or experience difficult circumstances.
The scholarship is a one-off payment valued at $2,500 for 1 year, to be paid in Semester 1 and Semester 2.
