This qualification is part of the Business Services Training Package. It is suitable for people who apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the WHS program in one or more fields of work in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner. They may work under the guidance of an occupational health and safety professional.

Entry Requirements:

Relevant vocational experience; prerequisite units from the Diploma of Work Health and Safety

8 units: 5 core; 3 electives.

Core: Apply legislative frameworks for WHS; Facilitate WHS activities; Implement WHS risk management; Evaluate the WHS performance of organisations; Develop, implement and maintain WHS management systems. Electives: Lead and manage organisational change; Develop and implement strategic plans; Apply ergonomics to manage WHS risks; Assist with applying occupational hygiene to manage WHS risks; plus more.
