The 2018 edition of The Good Universities Guide reveals Curtin University achieves five stars in the overall institution ratings across three measures — Skills Development, Learner Engagement and Starting Salary — making it a strong overall performer.

Key insights:

Curtin University's Teaching Quality was the best in Australia in the social work and dentistry fields, and they were also top for Overall Experience in dentistry.

Curtin provides social work graduates with the country's best Starting Salary outcomes.

Five-star field of study highlights

Curtin achieved five-star results 10 times across the fields of study for the Starting Salary measure. Curtin's strongest fields of study were social work and nursing, achieving five-star results in six and seven measures respectively. Overall, Curtin were consistently strong, with five-star scores in 16 fields of study.
