The 2018 edition of The Good Universities Guide reveals that University of Canberra graduate employment rates are above average. 70.3 per cent of Canberra graduates find full-time employment within four months of graduation — level with Australian National University, (70.0 per cent) and just above the national average, (69.5 per cent). Full-Time Employment rates for universities across the country ranged from 55.1 per cent to 83.9 per cent.

Canberra is particularly strong in the graduate destination results, achieving five stars for Starting Salary in five fields. At a field of study level, Canberra achieved five stars most often in psychology — Full-Time Employment, Skills Development, Teaching Quality and Starting Salary.
