The 2018 edition of The Good Universities Guide has awarded five stars to University of Queensland for Learning Resources where 88 per cent of its students gave favourable assessments of teaching spaces, online learning materials, laboratories and IT support. The national average is 85.2 per cent. UQ is the only Group of Eight university to achieve five stars in a key measure of student experience. UQ also outperformed its G8 rivals in measures of Overall Experience and Skills Development.

Key insights:

UQ results are above the national average in seven of eight measures of student experience and graduate outcomes.

Top in the country for Starting Salary in nursing, and science and mathematics.

Five-star field of study highlights

The University of Queensland excelled in the graduate outcome measures, achieving five-stars in Starting Salary and Full-Time Employment in six and five fields of study respectively. Engineering is Queensland's strongest field of study with five stars in five measures, however rehabilitation was also well-represented with five stars in four measures.
