Eight universities are awarded five stars for Full-Time Employment in the 2018 edition of The Good Universities Guide. Six of these are regional universities and seven are characterised by mature-age student cohorts. 72.1 per cent of graduates from University of South Australia find full-time employment within four months of graduating, which is higher than the national average (69.5 per cent), and higher than University of Adelaide, (62.5 per cent) and Finders University (55.1 per cent). Close analysis of The Good Universities Guide reveals that in fact, University of South Australia is one of the country's highest performing metropolitan universities for graduate employment where a majority of students enrol directly from secondary school and study on a full-time, on-campus study mode.

Key insight:

In field of study terms, UniSA are number one in Australia for Learner Engagement and Learning Resources in agriculture and environmental studies, and law and paralegal studies respectively.

Five-star field of study highlights

The University of South Australia is strong in a range of fields, achieving five stars more than twice in several including agriculture and environmental studies, architecture and building, business and management, computing and information systems, law and paralegal studies, and pharmacy. Humanities, culture and social sciences was the strongest field with five-star ratings in four measures.
