TradesmanNow Scholarship


TradesmanNow are offering an annual $1,000 merit based scholarship to university and TAFE students based on an essay submission on a different topic each year. It is open to both undergraduate and post-graduate students. This year's topic is based around sustainability. Students are required to respond with a 500 word essay to the topic: Global warming is the single biggest environmental issue that our current generation faces. We now live with the reality of climate change. Innovation is now necessary in order to effectively combat climate change. Write an essay of 500 words or less on the topic 'How I plan to develop or utilise innovative technology to work towards sustainability in my chosen field after I graduate'. For students to be eligible they must be enrolled in a university or TAFE course and must be an Australian resident. This year's scholarship applications open on the 4th May and close 26th March 2018. The successful applicant will be selected by a panel and will be contacted directly. The winning submission will be published both on the TradesmanNow website as well as social media in April each year.
Eligibility Students must be enrolled in a course at a University or TAFE in Australia and must be an Australian resident in order to be eligible to apply for the TradesmanNow scholarship.
