This program is ideal for students who are looking for a hands-on qualification that will prepare them for a successful career in the sports industry. Combining modern coaching techniques with current administrative practises, students will receive a unique mix of practical and theoretical teachings. Delivering versatility and a breadth of expertise, students will be educated in modern coaching and conditioning techniques, as well as in the management of the political, legislative, and administrative complexities increasingly encountered in the sports sector.
The course program is divided into 6 semesters, each of 12 weeks duration. Study involves approximately 16 contact hours a week (excluding examination and study weeks). The Associate Degree serves as an exit point from the degree after 2 years - students graduate with an Associate Degree in Sports Coaching and Administration.

This degree program offers the option to exit after 2 years of successful study with an Associate Degree. It can also be studied in an online format. Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or credit transfer based on prior study completed at associate diploma level or above and/or prior industry/professional experience (up to 50% of the curriculum).
