The Diploma of Health Sciences offers a broad foundation in biological and chemical sciences where students will gain an understanding of basic and applied sciences, including the anatomical, molecular and physiological processes of human health and function, in a supported learning environment. Students will develop technical scientific and research skills using some of the latest research equipment, which can be applied across a broad range of industries.
Students will complete a total of eight subjects comprising Bond University Core subjects and discipline specific foundation
- Introduction to chemistry
- Cell biology
- Chemistry for living systems
- Principles of human structure and function
Standard entry requirements
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent (OP 16 -18 / ATAR 58.20 to 50.15).
Successful completion of the Diploma of Health Sciences program guarantees students a place in the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences or Bachelor of Health Sciences programs, with a possible 80 credit points credited towards their degree. Students are advised to check degree study structures online to confirm for which subjects they may receive credit.

Students wishing to pathway into the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science or Bachelor of Biomedical Science must have also completed the equivalent of Maths B or Physics.
