Entry requirements

  • Entry into the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology for 2023 is competitive based on GPA and requires ONE of the following:.
  • 1. Have graduated within 3 years from a fully accredited Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Exercise Science course (please refer to the ESSA website for a list of accredited courses).
  • 2. Hold current ESSA accreditation in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology at the time of application.
  • 3. Have an approved ESSA Graduate Entry outcome (only for students that graduated from a non-accredited ESSA Exercise Science course OR who graduated from an ESSA accredited Exercise Science course more than 3 years ago and do not have current Exercise Science accreditation).

Recognition

The Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Rehabilitation) currently has professional accreditation in Exercise Physiology with Exercise and Sport Science Australia. Graduate of this course are therefore able to register and obtain provider numbers with Medicare, Department of Veterans Affairs, Work Cover, private health funds, and other compensable schemes.
