This course has been designed to help students become paraprofessionals in occupational health and safety with knowledge and industry relevant skills in ergonomics and human factors; accident investigation; and occupational health and safety management. Students will be provided with practical opportunities, including participation in supervised worksite visits to apply their learning to real-world situations ensuring they graduate work-ready.

Year 12 or equivalent. English language requirements apply.
On completion of appropriate years of service, graduates may be eligible to apply for membership as chartered professionals with the Safety Institute of Australia.
Graduates may apply for admission to the Bachelor of Occupational Health & Safety with advanced standing.
Some units within this course are only available to study online. Students are required to attend compulsory residential schools and undertake industry work placement during their studies.
