Entry requirements

In addition, international students whose first language is not English must demonstrate competency in the English language. English proficiency can be demonstrated by providing proof of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall test result (or equivalent alternative test result as defined by regulation) that meets the specified level of English proficiency specified for the course: IELTS, a minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0, TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT), a minimum overall score of 79 with a minimum writing score of 21. Pearson PTE Academic, a minimum overall score of 58 with no score lower than 50, or recognised equivalency.
Where international student have achieved an AQF qualification or equivalent overseas qualification and where the language of instruction has been English, students are deemed to have met the English language fluency requirement.
